 Highlights of January 10, 2010 Meeting

Location:The meeting was called to order at the SCP Office at 10:05 a.m.

Present: C. Fieldgate, L. Vilness, G. Glaicar, M. McKenzie, J. Keller, J. Dudgeon, T. Claypool, S. Hengen, K. Todd

Other: K.Messer-Engel (Registrar)

1. Council will explore the establishment of the position of Past-President on the Executive Council.
2. Council approved amendments to the Regulatory, Administrative and Fee Bylaws.
3. Council approved a Council Policy for conducting Electronic Meetings.
4. Council approved the increase of: application fee, non-sufficient funds (NSF cheques) fee, and new certificate printed fee. Included in this approval was the intent to establish a time limited register application fee and time limited register annual registration fee.
5. K. Messer-Engel reported that there were 492 members of the College. Of these, 400 were full practicing, 55 were provisional, and 37 were non-practicing. There are 10 pending members.

   March 6, 2010, 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
