Executive Council Highlights

 Highlights of January 10, 2009 Meeting

Location: The meeting was called to order at the SCP Office at 10:00 am.

Present: S.Jacobson (President), G.Stevens, J.Curry, L.Vilness, K.Todd, G.Glaicar, C.Schroeder, J.Keller, J.Dudgeon, S.Hengen

Other: K.Messer-Engel (Registrar), F.Lalonde

1. Council approved the principle of full cost recovery for oral examinations. The fee will be reviewed annually before December 31 st and the subsequent year’s fee will be established the January meeting of the Executive Council.
2. Council approved the setting of the oral examination fee for 2009 at $500.00 per examination.
3. K. Messer-Engel reported that there were 478 members of the College. Of these, 391 were full practicing, 41 were provisional, and 40 were non-practicing. There are 11 pending members.
4. Council approved Council committee re-appointments and accepted resignations and removals from SCP membership and register.
5. Council reviewed the draft revision of Council policies.
6. Upcoming meeting: Executive Council – February 7, 2009 , 10:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.
