Highlights of January 19, 2008 Meeting
Location: The meeting was called to order at the SCP Office at 10:09 am.
Present: M.Vandergoot, L.Vilness, G.Glaicar, W.Lyons , J.Dudgeon, J.Curry, F.Lalonde, C.Schroeder, K.Todd
Absent: K. Messer-Engel, S. Jacobson
- The Registrar’s report showed that, as of January 19, 2008, the College had 383 Full Practicing members, 50 Provisional members and 40 Non-Practicing members for a total of 473. There were 11 Provisional members awaiting their Oral Exams. The next Oral Examination will be scheduled for May/June 2008.
- The Nominations Committee reported that it had found nominees for the President-Elect and the two Member-at-Large positions on Council. There were no nominations for the position of secretary.
- Further planning was done for the AGM to be held at the Delta Hotel in Regina on March 15 th 2008.
- Review and renegotiation of staff contracts continued.
- The Treasurer’s report and preliminary budget were presented and the implications discussed in detail.
