Executive Council Highlights

 Highlights of April 25, 2009 Meeting

Location:The meeting was called to order at the SCP Office at 10:15 a.m.

Present: G.Stevens (President), C.Fieldgate, L.Vilness, K.Todd, G.Glaicar, C.Schroeder, J.Keller, J. Dudgeon, S.Hengen

Other: K.Messer-Engel (Registrar)

1. S.Hengen was appointed Treasurer for the Executive Council. Her term began March 21, 2009 .
2. Council completed review of Council policies.
3. Council established Council priorities for 2009 which include a focus on refining Council processes to align with policy governance.
4. Council approved the extension of the SCP MOU with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers.
5. Council will advise membership of member-at-large on Council vacancy.
6. Committee and SCP membership appointments & removals were approved by Council.
7. Council approved the disbanding of the Mental Health Sector Committee.
8. Upcoming meeting: Executive Council – May 9, 2009 , 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
