 Highlights of June 3, 2006 Meeting

Meeting called to order at 10:10 am.

Regrets: J. Dudgeon

1. Registrar K. Messer-Engel reported that as of June 3, 2006 there were 472 members in the College. This included 373 Full Practicing members, 47 Non-Practicing members, and 52 Provisional members.
2. The amendments to the Psychologists Act and the Regulatory Bylaws were proclaimed and published in the Saskatchewan Gazette as of May 12 th.
3. Members with Restricted licenses will receive new certificates giving their new titles as Provisional members.
4. K. Messer-Engel, D. Blackman, M. Vandergoot, W. Lyons and J. Curry will attend the League of Educational Administrators, Directors and Superintendents (LEADS) meeting in Saskatoon September 22, 2006.
5. Planning is underway for the 2007 AGM in Saskatoon on and the accompanying workshop.
6. A new MRA advisory was accepted by Council and will be posted on the website.
7. Members are still needed for some of the College Committees. Please consider volunteering.
