Highlights of June 21, 2003 Meeting

Location: Regina Board of Education

Meeting called to order at 10: 15 am.

Present: All Executive members and the Registrar.

1. Council members and Registrar reported on meetings held with Health Sector and Professional groups concerning APE in the Psychologist's Act.
2. S. Adams and Registrar reported on CPAP meeting June 15-6, in Hamilton, Ont.
3. Professional Practice and Ethics Committee is to be responsible for developing guidelines for File Storage (esp. related to Private Practice).
4. Legislation and Bylaws com. reps appointed from SEPA and Council and it is asked to examine the Residency issue as relates to Internet program Degrees.
5. Annual Registration renewal form will be updated in response to CPAP requirements.
6. Effective Aug. 1st SCP office moves to 348 Albert St. in Regina under a 5 year lease.
7. Office and Personnel Com. interviewing to hire a full time Office manager/bookkeeper.
8. Website updates coordinated for regular monthly posting.
9. Although Council asked some time ago for appointments, Sask. Health has not as yet designated any Public Representatives.
10. Effective July 1st, 2003, a charge of $25 will be levied on each request members make for duplicate receipts.
11. Additional representatives are being sought for the Legislation and Bylaws, Professional Practice and Ethics and Nominations Committees.

Meeting adjourned at 4:15 pm. The next meeting is set for July 12th.
