Executive Council Highlights

Highlights of May 10, 2003 Meeting

Location: Regina Board of Education

Meeting called to order at 10:20 am.

Present: All except one Executive member who gave regrets, one Public Rep., and the Registrar.

  1. The status of current office equipment was reviewed and upgrading would be explored.
  2. An Office & Personnel Committee was set up to deal with office and personnel needs.
  3. In keeping with some Auditor recommendations a job description was drafted for hiring an Office Manager.
  4. A number of financial record keeping procedures were approved to streamline operations.
  5. A get-well card and gift of appreciation were chosen for Dr. P. Hemingway.
  6. The CRHSPP representative for the College attended and outlined basic roles and key issues currently being debated.
  7. Responses to questions concerning APE were discussed.
  8. Specific Committee needs were identified and members delegated to contact PSS, SEPA and SPA for further appointment recommendations.

Meeting adjourned at 4:20 pm. The next meetings are set for June 21st and July 12th.
